Floral design and woodwork services in Costa Rica
Camía works by project, not from a catalog. These are the kinds of commissions the studio takes on: weddings, businesses, hospitality, Christmas, and the wood and pine line. They all start the same way, with an appointment, a date, and a space.
We take on projects in the Greater San José Area and Guanacaste.

Destination weddings and events
Ceremony, reception, and everything seen along the way: entrance, focal point, centerpieces, head table, bouquet, and chair or napkin details.
For destination weddings, we need to know the exact venue early. A table under the beach sun is not the same as an air-conditioned ballroom, and the flowers notice before the guests do.
- Ceremony focal point: arch, aisle, or backdrop, with a wooden structure when the venue allows it.
- Centerpieces at different heights, set on custom-made bases.
- Bridal bouquet and accompanying pieces.
- Installation, final adjustments before guests arrive, and teardown.

Businesses and offices
Reception areas, meeting rooms, executive desks, and one-off setups for launches, anniversaries, or important visits.
For offices, we work with pieces that can handle air conditioning and artificial light, and with wooden bases that stay in place: only the contents change when it’s time to refresh.
- Permanent reception arrangements with scheduled changes.
- Styling for brand and press events.
- Corporate gifts in flowers and wood.

Hotels and restaurants
Lobby, host stand, bar, tables, and event areas. In hospitality, the flowers are seen every day, so the question isn’t which arrangement impresses most, but which one holds up best until the next change.
The service runs on maintenance visits: whatever has done its job is replaced, and the wooden bases stay.

Christmas
Wreaths, garlands, tables, and complete styling in greenery, pine, and wood, without falling into shopping-mall red and gold.
Year-end décor is planned in advance. If the project is for a hotel, a restaurant, or an office, write to us before the season begins.

Wood, pine, and natural materials
The wood line: handmade bases, trays, pedestals, and pine pieces. They can be ordered together with the flowers or on their own, and they are the same pieces that later hold up the installations.
They are made to order, with dimensions defined for each project. Full details are on the Wood and Pine page.
How quotes work
Every proposal is built on three things: the number of pieces, the type of flower available on that date, and the complexity of the installation. Flower availability changes with the date, and we talk about it from the start.
That’s why the first appointment doesn’t end with a number: it ends with a proposal covering palette, materials, and installation. The number comes after, based on something already drawn.
If your project doesn’t fit neatly into any of these boxes, we can probably still do it: most commissions arrive mixed.
